Gary R. Spruill,
President/CEO of the Awning Sleeve Shirt Co., Inc. is pleased to
announce that we will be changing our name to Dri-Zone Sportswear in
the coming weeks ahead.
Mr. Spruill was quoted as saying that it is a
"change" that has been in the works for awhile, and one
that is needed for the future growth of our company. He added
that Dri-Zone Sportswear is owned by The Awning Sleeve Shirt Co.,
Inc. and will offer the highest quality performance sportswear an
athlete can buy.
He, also, stated that to the thousands of
satisfied customers who have purchased his patented Awning Sleeve
Tennis Shirt, over the past seven years, not to worry that it will
still be manufactured and marketed under the Dri-Zone Sportswear logo...and will bear
the name "the Power Sleeve". He stated that
suggestions from many customers that they wanted a name change,
which really let everybody else know the "true" function
of the shirt besides being a fantastic moisture-wicking shirt, is
what prompted his decision.
Mr. Spruill said that this site will
"showcase" some of the products which Dri-Zone Sportswear
currently has in their product line-up. When asked, "why
he almost talks about them as being two separate companies since he
is the owner of both companies?" Mr. Spruill responded
that it was the Awning Sleeve Tennis Shirt which started it all, and
although he owns and is an active President/CEO of both companies
that in the past he has kept them separate to better offer the
customers the appropriate apparel for their needs.
When asked about a website for Dri-Zone
Sportswear, Mr. Spruill replied it is designed and poised to launch
within the coming weeks.
When asked if he has invented any other shirts,
Mr. Spruill said, "yes, we are currently negotiating a licensing
contract with a company to market a Compression fit shirt,
which Mr. Spruill has recently invented, which will rival all other
apparel of that kind on the market. He said that Nike and
Under Armour has seen the shirt and have tried to beef up their
line...but, that his patent pending status on the shirt has
prevented them from being able to copy it.
The new, compression shirt which Mr. Spruill was
referencing is soon to be launched under the brand name "Energee,
Tm.".
When asked about his concession manufacturing
business, Mr. Spruill stated that its success has been phenomenal
and the future looks very, very good. He is referring
to: funnelcakedispenser.com.
